Managed Early Study Abroad

 It is possible to study in New Zealand alone from the age of 10, and the role of a reliable local guardian is more important than anything else.  It's important. Vision Study Abroad School always communicates with parents and helps them with their concerns.

@ What is a managed (guardian) study abroad?

You can study in New Zealand alone from the age of 10 when your 5th grader birthday in Korea passes. As I study abroad away from my family at a young age, the role of a reliable local guardian is of utmost importance.

Check the New Zealand laws for unaccompanied study in New Zealand:  Parent or legal guardian

Vision Study Abroad Academy is a guardian of students who challenge themselves to study abroad, not only supporting their studies and living, but also constantly communicating with their parents to help them discover the Vision in their lives.

@ managed  Early study abroad process

Sometimes the decision to live abroad alone away from my family has nothing to do with my wishes. For the students, it would be scary and trembling. Vision Study abroad also understands the sad feelings of parents not always seeing their growing children by their side every day during their growing years.

If you have made the decision because you need to study abroad, now it is important to help our students achieve their dreams and visions. We check what goals you want to achieve through studying abroad and create a study abroad roadmap that suits you.

Schools should be well-chosen according to the inclinations and goals of our children.

Homestay families should consider the individual student's independent nature and lifestyle, including food.

There are times in life when goals change and strategies need to be modified accordingly. When you need to flexibly discuss these aspects with your parents and school, Vision Agent is with you at every moment.

@school

Attendance management, grade management, attending regular school interviews, reporting to parents after attending school events, applying for and accompanying school career counseling, counseling and applying for school subject selection, visiting school classes and daily life inspection, delivering school transcripts (translation)

Now that you are here to study, you need to make a plan for each goal. Vision Study Abroad School approached children like an uncle, lowered their eyes, and talked with them all the time. What happens at school is checked through organic dialogue with the school and the teachers in charge, so we check attendance as well as relationships with friends academically and in school life.

Through regular school visits, problems in the classroom, ESOL performance analysis, and various activities in the school are checked and introduced to parents. Cultural events, sports competitions, etc.  You can also check the school life of our students that you cannot see with your own eyes.

Through participation in intramural competitions, on-campus or after-school activities, and seasonal sports/cultural activity applications and participation, we strive to increase students' adaptability to school and enhance their friendships through various activities to increase their satisfaction with studying abroad.

@Homestay

Homestay selection and visitation meetings, homestay change and moving support, homestay life guidance and management, regular meetings with homestay families, receiving student weekly reports

Homestay family and living environment are very important to international students. Based on the expectations and needs of students and their families, the final confirmed homestay family is now a new family.

Vision International School always considers various variables that may occur during homestay life and communicates with students and each homestay family. It serves as a bridge to reconcile differences arising from cultural and lifestyle differences and to better understand each other.

We receive regular reports from homestay families, so we are always interested in eating habits, sleeping habits, health management, and time management, and if necessary, we meet with school officials, homestay families and students to help us move forward in a better direction.

# The choice of homestay is different for the Vision Foreign School.

1. Accept parent and student homestay family requirements

2. Send requirements to school

3. Select and share candidates from families pre-registered for school

4. Pre-visit and meeting with the homestay family by a vision agent in charge

5. Data collected after the visit (photos, videos, conversations, etc.) are delivered to parents

6. Final communication to school after parental decision.

(Students from Vision Travel Agency do not enter any homestay. As families registered in the school in advance, police background checks and home environments are reviewed to introduce them to safe families of middle class or higher. Participate in resolution.)

@life of studying abroad

Accompanying purchase of household items, managing pocket money, accompanying the hospital, participating in weekend activities, participating in New Zealand travel during vacation, regular Korean food party (at the home of the director),

After-school culture/sports lesson consultation, application and management, after-school class vehicle operation (pick-up and return)

Not only students' school life, but also every day after school is done with Vision Study Abroad. Students below the college are not allowed to wander outside the school alone, and see necessary tasks while traveling by car with the heads of the Vision Travel Agency.

After school, even after various sports activities and lessons, Vision Travel Agent moves the children to their car, and when the activity is over, they drive home so they can safely go home and rest.

Regularly on weekends and vacations, we provide opportunities for children to gain various experiences outside of school through various activities such as fishing and travel.

We regularly invite them to the director's home, share delicious Korean food at the restaurant, and support so that nostalgia for Korean food does not interfere with our studies.

When children are ill, we accompany them to the hospital 365 days/24 hours and help them receive the best treatment.

@study

Regular official language test every 3 months, regular/regular delivery of academic achievements to parents, management of achievements according to the study schedule, operation of a return home preparation class if necessary, support for further study/university consulting, participation in the academy study room at least once a week

Vision Study Abroad is a premier academy environment with excellent teachers to directly test and monitor children's learning achievement. We check what each child lacks and adjust the class schedule every 3 months to support balanced academic development.

We encourage participation in the honors class test and various competitions, and work together with children to achieve a rewarding study abroad experience based on their efforts and abilities.

Considering the direction of the children's study abroad, we organize an appropriate study schedule and give advice according to the direction of study.

Consulting for college entrance is also available, so in line with school subject selection, supplementary classes for subjects at the academy and preparation for necessary official grades are also provided.

Even if there are no classes, students visit the academy once a week to participate in self-study in the study room, check academic difficulties at school or difficulties in individual subjects, and receive help from teachers.

Every 3 months, we analyze academic achievement and report it to parents.
